Kal Yerng Nov Khmeng was celebrated in 17th - 18th June 2017. That was two days which this program was running. This event was made by ទាយាទអង្គរ - Angkor Inheritor team which a group of teenagers who loved culture, society, and environment.
That's not the first time that Angkor Inheritor team organize the program for helping the society and raise the culture up, because they have made one event call ' Lakhanak Pisith nie Asorsastra Ning Sastra Slek Rit Khmer ' already. Similar to the previous event that had celebrated on October 2016, this event 'Kal Yerng Nov Khmeng ' still focused on the culture that related to the old Pagodas. Why this team tried to focus on old Pagodas?
The answering was giving that because the old pagodas in Cambodia nowadays, was not value as the temple. It was really hurt for them, and they want all Cambodian people look back to the old things that we used to have rather than keep it a way and don't care like this.
Furthermore, they also wished this event will be collected some money for supporting the poor children in society and to promoted the old pagoda ' Vat Champa ' in Kandal province too.
By this concept, the event was going smoothly, even there were some problem happened on the event. Especially, there were so many people join it to visit pagoda, got new lesson and ideas about the old pagodas, prepared some flower, played games, had been a teacher, rode a cow trucks.
At the end of this event, the hole group toke the money that got from the ticket of event to Orphanage at Takhmoa town, and bought some books for giving the poor primiry students at Champa Pagoda.
