On August 12, 2017; YCC, OXFAM and បណ្តាញពង្រឹងសិទ្ធិអំណាចស្ត្រីវ័យក្មេងនៅកម្ពុជា celebrated International Youth day at AIS for a hole day and had more than 150 participants. In this event, there were a lot of speakers such as Mr. The Chhunhak ( ថេ ឈុនហាក់ ), Ms. Eng Linda, Ms. Ti Rozanet, Mss. San Vannary, Ms. Khetterin Fary, Ms. Fang Chompey, Mss. Um Vanna to disused about "Young teenage confidence".
That is not the first time of Youth International Day that was celebrated in Cambodia, but that is the 18th, while the 17th, we had celebrated it in ITC which talked about "The ways to Year 2030" in order to figure out the solution and goal for the next generation to prepare themselves in ASIAN.
During this event, all participants could asked some questions to their speaker about their wondering and discussed more thing about their goal or problems. So far, all the speakers had a good comment and good comment for all problems.
Moreover, in this event, there were so many activity to make the audience feel fresh and want to enjoy the program until the end of this event. Even all the participant had to stay there for a hole day, but they didn't feel bored because all activities are kind of knowledge that they had never known before. So the new lessons, new experience, new ideas, especially from Ms. Chompey, made the young teenager couldn't forget and interested in it so much. Furthermore, the competition between the teenager's speech, was really exited. You couldn't think that how good they were while they had the presentation in front of more than 150 people including the simple people, Civil servants, PhD, etc.
Overall, the "International Youth Day" is really play role as a workshop that make Cambodian teenagers get or improve their general thinking about the Cambodia society or can make them be stronger to say out what they think about our environment too. Anyway, not only this event that make all of us get more knowledge about our society, there are so many workshop in Cambodia nowadays. So, in order to get extra knowledge, you can join some workshop and social work, and you will feel both of fresh, tired, happy, and worried about our country.
